The model displays the larynx and thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is an endocrine organ. Located below the thyroid cartilage in the neck, on both sides of the trachea. The human thyroid gland is named after a reddish brown gland, resembling a shield armor. The thyroid gland is the largest endocrine gland in adults, located in the anterior part of the neck. It is reddish brown and H-shaped, with an average weight of 26.71g for males and 25.34g for females; Composed of left and right lobes, isthmus, and conical lobes. The left and right lobes of the thyroid gland are conical in shape (the right lobe is slightly larger), attached to the side of the larynx and trachea. The upper end reaches the middle of the thyroid cartilage, and the lower end reaches the 4th tracheal ring.
